It’s official, the Pantone colour of the year for 2020 is  PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue.

The company have stated that the “reassuring qualities of the thought-provoking PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue highlight our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.”

Classic Blue is described as a restful color, that brings “a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge.”

The forecast for this colour of the year is across the board, from not only as a paint colour for interiors but spreading widely to homewares, fashion, art, all areas of design even down to social media. Keep your eyes peeled for Classic Blue in 2020.

The end of 2019 we started introducing this colour of the year without being aware through feature walls, splash back tiles and specifying a new Polytec colour “Oxford” which is a deep blue. We can’t wait to see these selections come to life.
