Building Process for Homes

Preliminary Stage

  • Meet and greet with the Cunic Homes team

  • Preliminary works agreement

  • Site inspection

  • Contour survey

  • Geotechnical report (soil and wind)

  • Concept floor plan

  • Estimate

  • Drafted plans

  • Presentation of quote

  • Signing of build contract

  • Deposit

  • Bank valuation

Planning & Approval

  • Plans prepared for council submission (DA)

  • Selections

  • Presentation of 3D virtual walkthrough

  • Structural engineering

  • Energy assessment

  • Final plans + selections signed off

  • Second stage of council submission (BA)

  • Building surveyor

  • Council approval

Construction Stage

  • Introduction to project manager

  • Cunic Homes App

  • Occupancy certificate

  • Design brief for the designer (done with a Cunic Homes team member )

  • DA plans

  • Preliminary works agreement - s tage 2

  • Civil engineering

  • Planning report (if required)

  • DA submission t o council

  • Traffic impact assessmen t (if required)

  • Preliminary works agreement - stage 3

  • Structural engineering

  • BA plans

  • NBN design

  • Taswater certificate of certifiable work (CCW)
