What's in a Benchtop?

For a long time, the addition of a waterfall end to our kitchen benchtop has been extremely popular. With more benchtop products now available, to bridge the price gap between laminate and stone, we are seeing different ways to install waterfall ends and clients removing them altogether.

With thin acrylic benchtops becoming more popular and traditional waterfall ends becoming less popular, modern and masculine joinery designs are starting to emerge. These bold, and often black kitchens are dramatic and utilise stone and acrylic in new ways; reducing overhang, introducing shadow lines and incorporating timber and metal accents.

Joinery is an exciting part of designing your new home. With the kitchen often being the heart of our client’s home, it is important to design it in a way that is both practical and reflects the style and lifestyle of the end user.
